Description

Tektronix K1205 protocol tester is designed for the monitoring and network analysis of SS7, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900, CDMA, ISDN D-Channel and V5.x protocols. Simultaneous connection of up to 16 PCM30/PCM24 with up to 32 time slots. The K1205 is a passive device that can be integrated into a LAN or remotely controlled via ISDN or modem. It can analyze recordings from the K1103 and K1297 testers. Based on a compact and state-of-the-art hardware design belonging to the same family as the K1297 Protocol Analyzer, the K1205 is a portable VME system with five slots. Slot 1 is occupied by a Pentium PC based on VME. Slots 2 to 5 are available for the measuring modules which are equipped with Motorola 68040 processors.
